Virginia (Fisher) Walk

Walk-Virginia (Fisher), 74, Nanty Glo, passed away Dec. 2, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born Feb. 26, 1948 in Colver. Daughter of the late Arthur and Eleanor (Snedden) Fisher. Preceded in death by brothers Leonard and Larry Fisher, sister Victoria Funari, and Candice Noel. Virginia is survived by husband Rodney Walk, children Ryan (Nancy) Walk, Tracy (Chad) Fabian, Robin (Jamie) Horn, Rebecca (Tom) Swartz. Grandchildren Terry Noel, Jr. (Jess Bollinger), Kelley (Shaun) Walters, Ben (Jennifer) Grove, Samantha Fabian, Nathan (K-Din) Fabian, Kayla Bugal (Will Kovac), Kristin (David) Ulicne, Kasey Horn (Ryan Friedman), Tom Swartz (Taylor Brothers), and Timothy Swartz (Tiffany Smith), 8 great grandchildren, and brother Arthur (Neva-Jo) Fisher. She attended Laurel Mountain Bible Church. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Friends will be received at the Laurel Mountain Bible Church on Wednesday from 11AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1PM, Pastor Jim Lambing, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Virginia’s Family. Arrangements are being handled by Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Nanty Glo.
