Obituary

Sohl-Klaus A “Charlie” 88, Nanty Glo, passed away Oct. 13, 2022 at home. He was born Jan. 19, 1934 in Lintig, Germany. Son of the late Dedlef and Katherine Sohl. Preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister. Survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Myrna F. Sohl, Daughter Donna L., Benjamin R. Mason. Grandchildren Anthony K. Mosso and Sarah L. Mosso. Great grandchildren Kayden, Sebastian, and Lincoln. Sister Tina, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and In Laws Hans and Mae Lorenzen. He was forever grateful to his Uncle John and Aunt Ella Sohl who sponsored his arrival to New Jersey. He lived with them until marrying and worked on their dairy farm until they sold it in 1974. He then was an equipment operator at Readington Twp. Road Dept. and had his own lawn care business. He was an avid hunter and loved to watch wrestling and the New York Rangers and drinking beer. When he retired from New Jersey, he lived in Murrells Inlet, SC for 15 years, then moved to Nanty Glo in 2017 to be closer to his daughter. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6PM until the time of the prayer service at 8PM at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
