Dorothy Mae Mae (Mitchell) Ponchione

Ponchione-Dorothy Mae (Mitchell), 78, Ebensburg, passed away May 15, 2022 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born Jan. 24, 1944 in Revloc, youngest daughter of George and Nellie (Pettigrew) Mitchell. Preceded in death by parents, husband Albert E. Ponchione, oldest son George A. Ponchione, and sister Maryellen Yobbagy. Survived by twins Richard (Maritza) Ponchione, Brawley, CA and Mary Ann (Patrick) Lee, Ebensburg. Grandchildren Mitchell Pochione and significant other Nykki Shalter, Pittsburgh, Kaitlin Ponchione and fiancée Jonny Wendling, Malvern, Alex (Sarah) Lee, Madison Lee, Abby Lee, Malena Ponchione, and Noah Ponchione. Sister-in-law Florence Bracken and brother-in-law Ed (Deb) Ponchione. Dorothy loved watching game shows and was a very good cook. She enjoyed talking on the phone with family and friends. Dorothy was the most caring and sweetest mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 12 PM at St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo, Fr. Leonard Voytek, the Celebrant. Dorothy’s final resting place will be in Holy Name Mausoleum beside her husband Albert.
