Wilda (McCall) Swartz, 90, Nanty Glo, died March 21, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 12, 1924, in Spangler, daughter of the late William and Lulua (Loman) McCall, and the parents who lovingly raised her, James and Emily (Church) Delehunt. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond; brothers, William, Lawrence and Raymond McCall and William Delehunt; sisters, Irene and Virginia McCall and Irene Delehunt Cummins; daughter, Janice Deetcreek; grandson, Christopher Lonesky; and granddaughter, Melissa Swartz. Survived by children, Madeline (Robert) Martinazzi, Larry (Debra) Swartz and Nancy (Donald) Thomas, all of Nanty Glo; Raymond (Laurie) Swartz, Belsano; Linda (Gregory) Lonesky, Indiana; Brenda (James) Mackanick, Rillton; Brian (Kathy) Swartz, Hastings; Susan (Glenn) Callender, Chicora; and Lori Oldham, Lisa (Stephen) Simasek and son-in-law, Barron Deetscreek, all of Nanty Glo; 35 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grand-daughter. Member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Nanty Glo. Wilda spent the hours of her earthly days praising our God whom she knew deeply and personally. She would sing hymns of praise throughout her days and would recite scripture verses. Her favorite Psalm was 139, which she would faithfully remind us. "He saw me before I was born. Every day of my life is recorded in his book." Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Bradley Deetscreek. Interment, Belsano United Brethren Cemetery.
