Thomas D. Martin, 56, Nanty Glo, died Jan. 26, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 8, 1958, in Johnstown, son of the late Robert and Mary (Farkas) Martin. Survived by wife, the former Linda Rose, Nanty Glo; children, Amanda (Keith) Misner, Virginia; and Thomas, at home; grandson, Benjamin Misner; brothers and sisters, Regina (Jim) Ray, Vinco; Dennis Robert, Aspers, Pa.; Cindy (William "Chill") Olstien, Nanty Glo; and Michael, Dallastown, Pa.; and nieces and nephews, Jimmy (Susan) Ray, and children, Josh, Micah and Megan; Tim (Cindy) Ray, and daughters, Sara and Olivia; Sherry and Amber Martin; Dr. William Olstien; and Brittany Martin. Member of St. Mary's Church. He worked for Scanlan Electric, Ebensburg, and as a splicer for Verizon. He belonged to Communication Workers of America. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where a liturgical wake will be held Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Father Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
