Richard "Rick" L. Meyers

Richard L. "Rick" Meyers, 65, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 9, 1961, Rick was the son of the late Robert G. Meyers and Connie K. Meyers. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Meyers, and his mother-in-law, Josephine Post.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Leslie C. Meyers; his daughter, Nicole (Daniel) Boyer; and his son, Andrew Meyers. He was a proud grandfather to Tyler (Shaina) Boyer and Damon Rinehart, and a devoted great-grandfather to Jude.

He is also survived by his brother, Scott Meyers and his wife, Denise; his sister-in-law, Sheila Meyers; his niece, Becky; his nephews, Nick and Joey; and his great-niece, Madalynn, and great-nephews, Micah and Preston.

Rick was a longtime employee of WJAC-TV, where he dedicated many years of service. He enjoyed watching auto racing, fishing, and spending time with his longtime friend, J.D. Above all, Rick treasured his family and the time he shared with them.

Rick will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, sense of humor, and the love he shared with everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Nanty Glo, where a funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
