Mary Lou Smith

Smith-Mary Lou, 81, Twin Rocks, passed away Sept. 18, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born Sept. 30, 1943 in Nanty Glo. Preceded in death by husband Kenneth T. Smith, Mother Eleanor (Murowski) Holdsworth, brothers Thomas, Deovaux, Jr., Donald, brother-in-law Joe Smith, great granddaughter Elizabeth, sons-in-law Ronald Snyder, Paul Cvejkus, and David Rorabaugh. Mary Lou is survived by daughters Janet Snyder, Connie Cvejkus, Christina (Jeffrey) Coleman, Carolyn Rorabaugh, Paula (Barry) Bernardo. Grandchildren Amanda, Valerie, Heather, Kenny, Jessica, K-Lynn, Kellie, Emily, Ashley, Courtney, Bradley, Nichole, Margaret, and Shelly, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Sister of Donna Corle, Barbara McDermitt, and Leonard Holdsworth and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her. She enjoyed making homemade ornaments for her grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1PM. Interment to follow Belsano United Brethren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
