Marion Block

Block-Marion (Rutter), 82, Blacklick Township, passed away August 27, 2026, at home, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born October 1, 1943 in West Virgina. Daughter of the late Cecil and Mary Emma (Jacobs) Holiday. Preceded in death by husband Charles Block, Sr., granddaughter Bridget Gustkey, sisters Hester, Ada, Mary, Nancy, and Linda, brothers Dale, Rodger, and Robert. Marion was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Marion is survived by children Marshia (Joel) Gustkey, Pamela Crawford, Mary (David) Mastrine, Charles Block, Jr.,(Crystal Steck), Alberta (Steve) Harriger, and Peggy Block (Ben Brothers) whom Marion resided, 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 on the way, Aunt Thelma, and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed listening to polka music on Sunday mornings. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where funeral services will be held Monday 11AM, Pastor Dan Kelly, officiating. Interment to follow in Edwards Cemetery, Belsano.
