Linda Diane (Hardin) Snyder

Snyder-Linda Diane (Hardin), 74, Nanty Glo, passed away Oct. 22, 2026 at home, after battling cancer 4 times. She was born Sept. 11, 1952, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late James and Pearl (Rager) Hardin, Sr. Preceded in death by brothers James Hardin, Jr, and Richard Hardin. She is survived by husband Rev. John Snyder, sister-in-law Kathy Hardin, niece Dawn Durkin, and nephews James Hardin, III and Michael Hardin. Stepson James Snyder adopted daughter Crystal Powell and granddaughter Marissa Knopsnyder. Longtime member of Nanty Glo Methodist Church, where she was secretary for many years, choir, and Lay Leader. She worked at Hills Department Store and Sheetz in Nanty Glo for 20 years each. She loved people and enjoyed reading. Viewing will be held on Friday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home and Saturday from 10AM until the time of funeral services at 11AM at the Nanty Glo Methodist Church, Pastor Trish Wood, officiating, Interment will take place in Lloyd Cemetery, Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, 11 AM.
