Leo V. Martin

Martin-Leo V., 90, passed away Jan. 16, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Nanty Glo. Son of the late Daniel and Bessie (Enderline) Martin. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters Alexander Martin, Phyllis Owatt, John Kenneth Martin, Lorraine Skoal, and Sarah Jane Martin. Leo was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Elizabeth (Batovich) Martin and numerous nieces and nephews. He retired from Jones and Woods in Washington, DC. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, is in charge of the services.
