Edna Mae (Rager) Harasty

Harasty-Edna Mae (Rager), 87, Vitondale, passed away July 3, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born Sept. 20, 1932 in Vintondale. Daughter of the late Daniel and Nellie (Selders) Rager. Preceded in death by Husband Charles “Porky” Harasty, Grandson Matthew Harasty, Brothers Melvin, William, Paul, Jim, and Raymond, and her only sister Rhonda. Edna is survived by her sons Joseph, Dilltown; Peter, Armagh; Daniel, Vintondale;  David, Vintondale. Grandsons Charles, Johnstown; Daniel, Indiana. Granddaughter Brittany, Nanty Glo. Great grandchildren Ethan, Riley, Oliver, and Ellie. Edna did volunteer work for the Vintondale Homecoming. She enjoyed dances and traveling. Visitation will be Monday, 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Blacklick Cemetery, Dilltown.
