Earl Walter Ewards

Edwards-Earl Walter, 86, Ebensburg, passed away Jan. 11, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Aug. 5, 1935 in Ebensburg. Son of Eben Elwood and Caroline Patricia (Shank) Edwards. Preceded in death by wife of 67 years Mary Sharmane (Hopfer) Edwards, son Wally, parents, siblings Clarence, Alice, Charles, Clair, Hannah, Leroy, Merle, Ruth, Fred, Alberta, Dolly, and two infant brothers. Earl is survived by children Donna (Fred) Kuzemchak; Debra (Fred) Farabaugh; Thomas (Sue) Edwards; Patricia (Chuck) Urgolites; Douglas; Kimberly; Amy Jo; Jamie (Nathan) Faust. 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Earl will be fondly remembered for his stories, hunting, family reunions, tractor rides, gardening, working in the timber industry and strip mines, and being a Pirates fan. At the family’s request the viewing will be private with a memorial service and interment at a later date. Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, is in charge of the arrangements.
