Donald Pierson

Pierson-Donald, 74, Nanty Glo, passed away peaceful at home on Jan 19, 2026, after fighting a Courageous battle with cancer for five years. He was born Feb 16, 1951, in Johnstown. Son of the late Bernard and Catherine (Brown) Pierson. Preceded in death by brother Bernie Pierson. Survived by his wife of 53 years Eileen (Gabelli) Pierson, daughters Renee (Bill) Pierson and Dana (Jeff) Price, grandchildren Roma, Colton, Logan, and Jake, brother Robert (Linda) Pierson, sister-in-law Barb Pierson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #207, Nanty Glo. Visitation will be on Thursday, at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, from 11 AM until the time of funeral services at 12 PM, Pastor Gary Shingler, officiating. Interment to follow in St. May’s Cemetery. The family would like to send a special thank you UPMC Healthcare and Family Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society.
