Dolly S. (Rupe)Hoover, 90, Strongstown, died Oct. 6, 2014, at Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born May 10, 1924. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Walter K.; son, Gary Kimmel; and daughter, Gloria Mazey. Surviving are her children, Shirley (Lemoin) Conrad, Tioga; Bonnie (John) Hodowanes, Windber; Ervin Hoover, Johnstown; and Jeff (Christine) Hoover, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was affiliated with Strongstown United Methodist Church. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, Pastor Ruby Mader, officiating.
