Charles Leo "Huck" Litzinger, Sr.

Litzinger, Sr.-Charles Leo, Sr., “HucK”, 90, Mineral Point, passed away Feb. 14, 2022 at home. Born March 16, 1931 in Echo, Pa. Son of the late Wilbert and Hazel (Mishler) Litzinger, Sr. Preceded in death by wife Dorothy (Divins) Litziger, sisters Pearl Martin, Betty Reathman, Catherine Nepper, Edith Litzinger, and brother Wilbert Litzinger, Jr. Charles is survived by children Ruth (Scott) Strayer, Ebensburg, Charles (Michele) Litzinger, Jr., Nanty Glo, Jane (Jim) Mastrine, Nanty Glo, Alice Litzinger, Johnstown. Grandchildren Scott, Jr. (Nikki) and Michael (Sheree); Wilbert (Miyako), Karen (Emanuel), Brooke (Richard), Amber, Charles, III (Madison), Renee, and Adam, and 11 great grandchildren. Brother of Norma, Robert, Jerry, and Russell, and numerous nieces and nephews. Retired from Bethleham Steel. Served in the US Army as a medic in the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, jigsaw puzzles, and family trees. Visitation will be Friday, from 10 AM until the time of funeral service at 12 PM at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Military Services will be conducted by the Nanty Glo, Twin Rocks, and Vintondale Ritual Team.
