Andrea Olivieri (née Olsavsky), 67, Burke, Va, formerly of Nanty Glo, PA, was called by the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret (Barlick) and Joseph Olsavsky, and her brother, Joseph Olsavsky. Andrea is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Riccardo; children: Riccardo, Maria Luisa (Daniel) Eichhorst, and Antonio; grandchildren: Thomas and Andrew; siblings: Michael (Maria), Bernadette (Thom) Palko, Lawrence (Martha), Francis, Anthony (Georgina), Celeste, Daniel (Melodye), Gregory (Lucy), Kevin (Yvette), sister-in-law Judy, sister-in-law Angela (Benito) Olivieri; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. She lived and traveled throughout Europe for many years. She was happiest hosting family and friends and could most often be found in the kitchen or at the post office mailing handwritten cards to loved ones. Guests will be received at the Bowser-Ondriezek funeral home in Nanty Glo, PA, on Friday, April 14, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 15, at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church in Nanty Glo, PA. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cheektowaga, NY, on Monday, April 17, at 11 am. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Nativity Catholic Church in Burke, VA, on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University Medical Center.
