Alana "Lanie" Isenberg 5, Nanty Glo, died April 28, 2012, surrounded by her loving family and friends at Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Dec. 11, 2006, in Johnstown, daughter of Daniel and Breanne (Isaacson) Isenberg. Preceded in death by great-grandparents, Emil Isaacson, Richard and June Millward and Gary Garman. Survived by parents; sister, Keira, at home; aunts and uncles, Jennifer (Chris) Caracciolo, Georgia; Nathan (Jill) Isaacson, Nanty Glo; Daniel (Kristin) Isaacson, Pittsburgh; Shania Shultz, Ebensburg; and Stefan Shultz, Ebensburg; cousins, Griffin and Isabella Caracciolo and Connor Isaacson; grandparents, Emil and June Isaacson, Nanty Glo, and Dana Shultz, Ebensburg; great-grandmother, Delores Isaacson; great-aunts and uncles, Richard (Babs) Millward, Texas; Mary (James) Olstein, Nanty Glo; Susan Millward, Nanty Glo; Chrissi (Richard) Agagliati, Nanty Glo; Faith (Jeffery) Wiegman, Nanty Glo; and MaryAnn (Estay) Greene, Nanty Glo; great-great-aunts, Rita Rafas, Ebensburg, and Catherine Isaacson, Twin Rocks; extended cousins, Richard Millward III, Amanda Millward, James (Ellen) Olstein, Aaron Olstein, Ross Agagliati, Lauren Wiegman, Estay (Rebecca) Greene, Carissa Greene, Bryant Greene and Dick Williams; and special friends, Mike and Whitney from Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh. Member of St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo. Lanie loved life and enjoyed spending time with her family. She played soccer, loved fishing and planning weddings for her Barbies. A happy and loving child, Lanie love animals and gardening with her Nana. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. Lanie fought fearlessly against a rare blood disorder and leukemia. She was more famous than Harry Potter. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where liturgical wake will be held. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Father Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alana Isenberg Fund at C&G Savings Bank, Nanty Glo.
